Description

As an Apprentice you will undertake a 4 year Training Contract where you will learn on-the-job to become a qualified Mobile Plant Technician.

You will complete a Certificate 3 in Mobile Plant Technology.


As a Mobile Plant Technician Apprentice you will perform a range of tasks on a variety of diesel engines and mobile plants.


You may also undertake the following:

  • Carry out servicing operations on heavy vehicles and mobile plants
  • Inspect and service diesel engines
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace
  • Work effectively with others in an automotive workplace
  • Diagnose and test parts using diagnostic technology
  • Inspect, service and repair track type drive and support systems
To be considered for a this Apprenticeship the following is required:

  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Be punctual and have a good work ethic
  • Be able to use initiative and work well in a team
  • Must hold a current drivers licence.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract, Apprenticeship


Salary:
From $25,660.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
