Role Detail
As a member of the wider Business Services team, this pivotal role is the face of the firm to all visitors to our Brisbane office underpinned by an exceptional customer centric approach.
Working autonomously on the reception desk, covering Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 1.00pm, you will enjoy working independently in a fast paced environment.
From managing meeting rooms to creating an exceptional experience for all guests visiting the client floor, you need to be able to think on your feet and lead with confidence from experience.
With an ability to be involved with adhoc projects this role will keep you motivated and challenged and will see you join a collaborative team, who have an excellence without arrogance ethos.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Greeting all staff and visitors to reception in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring the conference floor is maintained to a high standard and the firms' expectation.
- Managing all bookings for conference rooms, VCs and catering in the MC&V system.
- Confirming all room requirements including catering, equipment, premises etc the day prior to meeting.
- Answering calls to the Reception
- Responding to clients (internal and external) requests
- Processing mail and arranging couriers as and when needed
Prior corporate reception experience will be essential for this pivotal role, and as the brand ambassador and first point of contact for those visiting the firm, you will also bring exceptional communications skills and enjoy being the main point of contact for queries.
Your attention to detail will be celebrated and customer centric approach rewarded, and as any quality receptionist knows, planning and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines are essential.
