The Talent and People Systems (TaPS) team are building a high performing workforce through contemporary talent attraction, recruitment and retention strategies and providing the best people systems with strong business intelligence on their workforce data to inform current and future strategies and establishing their Strategic Workforce Plan.

As they continue to pursue an exciting transformation strategy, our client is now seeking an experienced HRIS & People Analytics Lead to play a key role in shaping the future.

What's to love about the role?


Reporting to the People Systems Manager, you will play a critical role in the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and will the lead enhancement of all people systems across the organisation.

With the opportunity to establish, build and lead a team of HR system and workforce planning specialists, you will:
Lead people systems, data analytics capabilities, and initiatives to guide and inform our client's strategic decision making;
Develop and evaluate policies and practices to establish and enable the use of employee workforce data and analytics;
Develop and embed a data analytics framework, including HR Metrics and Scorecard;
Develop and maintain regular advanced reporting of HR Metrics and Scorecard Analysis to Executive and Leadership Team;
Manage legislative/compliance reporting in regard to people systems and data analytics e.g. Workplace Gender Equity Agency annual reporting;
Lead and manage the HR operations team, ensuring fit-for-purpose people systems and business processes; and


Lead key initiatives that drive continual improvement (e.g design and implement employee stay & exit interviews, including associated data collection analysis and reporting capability to provide employee experience insights).

Additionally, you will play a central role in managing strategic workforce modelling and planning for our client.

With relevant tertiary qualifications, you will have significant experience managing HR systems and implementation projects across large, complex decentralised organisations, ensuring the needs of the business are not only met, but exceeded.

It is critical that you have a strong understanding of HRIS systems and technologies, as well as experience in data analysis and report generation.


With exceptional project management skills, you will have the ability to plan, prioritise and execute on multiple tasks, ensuring key stakeholders are kept abreast of key milestones.

Demonstrating excellent communication and problem solving skills, you will have an innate ability to work effectively with cross functional teams to drive business outcomes.


With a passion for continuous improvement, you will role-model key leadership behaviours to build a high performing team, ensuring team members are empowered and motivated to reach their full potential.
