Trainer/Assessor with Mechanical Trade Background (Fitting and Machining)

Responsibilities:

Delivering highquality training and assessment services to apprentices and students in the fitting and machining field.
Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of learners and employers.
Provide guidance and support to apprentices and students to ensure they achieve their learning objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry bodies, and other stakeholders in the mechanical trade sector.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Keep uptodate with industry developments and changes in legislation.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in the mechanical trade industry, with a strong technical background in fitting and machining.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical trade and machining, such as a Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Mechanical Trade).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent. Training will be provided if required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
A commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and professional development.
