The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities include:


  • Review, moderate, respond and close new and existing helpdesk tickets and escalate any tickets that are not closed within a reasonable timeframe
  • Provide assistance to the National Storage Group to remedy hardware, software and network issues, and project manage specific software and hardware upgrades as directed
  • Assist with Active Directory User accounts for all employees as they commence employment and manage ad hoc requests
  • Assist with network security of the National Storage Group Wide Area Network (WAN) and effectively resolve issues as required, including relevant escalations
  • Assist with centre acquisitions, SiteLink conversions and site implementations as directed. This includes preparing Telco account migrations and productive relationships with external suppliers

About You

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software (including Microsoft Operating Systems) is compulsory
  • Level 1 support experience is desirable
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Intermediate or high level of knowledge in Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge and understanding of Windows Networking and TCP/IP is desirable
  • The ability to work autonomously and proactively where required with strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn, strong attention to detail and adaptable in an environment of improvement
