About the role
Bring your content design expertise to one of the most-visited sites in the NSW Government - You'll join a team of passionate advocates for customer-centric content who are at the forefront of running a complex website for parents, educators and community members in the education sector.
As a Content Designer you will:
- support creation, maintenance and testing of metadata infrastructure including master semantic model, master content model, master data model, and knowledge model
- collaborate and provide assistance as required for content authors and publishers to deliver best practice content across the department
- support and work within various content management systems to ensure quality content for online assets
- facilitate consultation and contribute knowledge of information architecture and useability to online editorial activities
- assist with continuously improving content, content standards, guidelines and training materials.

About you
- knowledge of digital communication practices
- high-quality content skills
- ability to drive and support strict content governance
- understanding of information architecture principles.
You will also have experience with:
- taxonomy creation and maintenance
- knowledge modelling (knowledge graphs)
- content management systems (especially Adobe Experience Manager).
Essential requirements of the role
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Accessibility requirements.
Key knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
