About the Opportunity:


Nutrien Financial (NF) is a division that supports the operations of our core retail business,
Nutrien Ag S
olutions (NAS). NF acts a key enabler for sales and performance of NAS through empowering our customers to access flexible payment options that best suits their cash-flow. Strong customer appeal for our finance solutions has seen exceptional growth in the NF business. Reporting to the GM Nutrien Financial we are seeking a unique individual to join our small but highly successful team to lead our West Region finance business.


The
Region Finance Lead (RFL) plays a key role in leading a team of specialists to deliver exceptional service and solutions for our customers through engagement with our retail network.


In addition the RFL is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the best outcomes for their finance team.
  • Developing strong relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders and key external customers.
  • Executing the Nutrien Financial strategy and ensuring financial performance and business objectives are delivered on.
  • Leading and aligning your resources effectively but also influencing the actions of stakeholders beyond your direct reports.
  • Developing and executing localised marketing campaigns in partnership with key category partners.
  • Collaborate cross functionally within the region to share information to achieve overall business objectives.
  • All aspects of Portfolio Management, including commercial insights, compliance and risk.
  • Assist in the planning and budgeting processes.
  • Be seen to be the key spokesperson and product champion for our finance activity in the West Region whilst upholding our core NAS principles and values.

About You


To be successful you will possess proven experience in leading a team and delivering successful results ideally gained within in the agricultural and/or banking sector.

With a demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture, you will also bring:


  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
  • Personal skills that demonstrate accountability, innovation, insightfulness and developing and motivating people towards a plan and vision.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of loan policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer literacy with MS Excel Skills.
  • A strong focus on results with an appreciation for safety, inclusivity and integrity.
  • Extensive Agribusiness lending experience and strong rural sector empathy.
