Long established Law Firm seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Manager (Part Time).
The successful applicant will be responsible to the principal for managing the firm's general and trust accounts, payroll, and compliance obligations.
The position initially is expected to be for three days per week from 9.00am to 5:00pm (negotiable).
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Trust Accounting
- Data Entry using MYOB
- Payroll
- Estate Distribution
- Invoicing
- Debt recovery and management
- Weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Reconciliation of trust and practice accounts
- Filing
- Resolving client enquiries
- Administrative tasks as otherwise directed.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable is essential.
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping preferred.
- Experience in Legal Trust Accounting is desirable.
- Experience in MYOB cloudbased system preferred.
- Experience using current Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Team player qualities with a friendly disposition and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Professionalism, confidentiality, and a teamwork approach will all be assumed qualities.
