Fox Global Partners is currently working with a Big Four Accounting Firm to recruit for an internal audit manager to join their team.

They have a great reputation within both globally and within Australia and work with the world's leading mining and mining services companies.

The Company.
The internal audit manager role is with a Big Four Firm. They have a strong local presence and work with a a range of globally listed companies. This role will focus on mining and mining resources clients.

The Role.

The main aim of the role of the internal audit manager is to help to deliver the internal audit program, performing financial and operational audits across the business as set out in the annual internal audit plan.

you will manage a portfolio of clients, mostly within mining and mining services and manage a team of internal audits.

Key duties within the role include

Plan and lead multiple audits and other business process audits for the year and oversee the execution and completion of an annual audit plan.
Perform controls testing in order to provide assessments on the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
Draft Internal Audit reports which would include summary of findings and associated risks.
Conduct post internal audit meetings with key stakeholders in order to address key findings and areas of risk within the organisation.
You will continue to monitor the risks and developments of the organisation.

About You.

The ideal internal audit manager will be fully CA / CPA qualified from with a leading accountancy firm and have good internal audit or risk management experience.

It would be highly advantageous if you were to have experience in mining or mining services. You must also have a strong academic background, ideally with a degree from a well-known and reputable university. As this is a management role, you must have good experience in managing or leading teams.

You must have excellent people skills, be a great communicator and have natural rapport building skills as you will be working with a range of stakeholders across the business.
