- Current AHPRA registration
- At least 2 years of experience perianaesthesia and/or recovery nursing
- Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (peri-anaesthesia stream) is desirable
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Role
You are a suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated Anaesthetic/PACU nurse who is seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to become part of our dynamic team. Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care in the peri-anaesthetic environment. We are able to provide you with excellent educational opportunities across a broad range of specialities including Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, General, Urology and Orthopaedics.
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69, $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).

Through your highly developed interpersonal skill including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation you'll be able to facilitate positive team outcomes in a multidisciplinary environment.

St Vincent's Operating Suite currently houses 12 theatres, 12 anaesthetic rooms and a Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU). Working alongside the Sterile Processing Centre, Day Procedures, Cath Lab and Endoscopy Centres, the department undertakes over 13,000 procedures per year in a vast range of highly specialised and complex specialities over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week. We offer a supportive multidisciplinary environment with a strong focus on education and ongoing professional development.
