We strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment while delivering high-quality dental care. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients, establishing a friendly and professional rapport.
• Schedule appointments, manage the dental clinic's calendar, and assist with patient recall systems.
• Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide information about dental procedures and treatments.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist the dental team during patient visits, including preparing treatment rooms and instruments.
• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to established infection control protocols.
• Perform chairside assistance during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort.
• Take and develop dental Xrays under the dentist's supervision.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, postoperative care instructions, and preventive dental practices.
• Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring and trimming dental models and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant work experience as a dental assistant.
• Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
• Ability to take dental Xrays and maintain proper safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with a patientcentered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
