At SpringFarm Dental, we are a reputable dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional oral healthcare services to our valued patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, establishing a friendly and professional rapport.
- Schedule appointments, manage the dental clinic's calendar, and assist with patient recall systems.
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide information about dental procedures and treatments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist the dental team during patient visits, including preparing treatment rooms and instruments.
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to established infection control protocols.
- Perform chairside assistance during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort.
- Take and develop dental Xrays under the dentist's supervision.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, postoperative care instructions, and preventive dental practices.
- Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring and trimming dental models and fabricating temporary crowns.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant work experience as a dental assistant.
- Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
- Familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Ability to take dental Xrays and maintain proper safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a patientcentered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.

Part-time hours: 32 per week
Salary:
$ $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
