- assist and advise business areas on laws, regulations and rules that govern day-to-day activities

- collaborate with global colleagues to ensure that best practices are shared around the region/globe.


Your team

  • Group Compliance and Regulatory Governance (GCRG) strives to be an industry leading function in the effective oversight of compliance and operational risks and to enable the firm to effectively cope with the evolving regulatory environment and driving solutions in line with UBS's strategic objectives.
    Your expertise
  • It doesn't matter what you're studying. (Really, it doesn't.)
but we'd like to see evidence that you have/are:

  • the ability to understand dissect and analyze data to drive decisions and make recommendations using a structured work style coupled with distinct planning and execution abilities
- experience in showing leadership - this can be a project / team sport / charity work etc.
- sound judgement, curiosity and adaptability to a changing fast paced environment
- highly motivated and are a team player; honest, reliable and takes a positive approach with a consistent demonstration of integrity, active collaboration and constructive challenge
- reliable and resilient (challenging situations don't sway you)
- a basic knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel


Your Program

  • Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You'll be directly involved in daytoday operations, working with professionals and gaining firsthand experience of our business.
  • As well as onthejob learning, you'll receive training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you'll gain a wider perspective.
  • Besides all that, you'll attend networking events, crossbusiness classes and social occasions where you'll get to know us.
  • As you move into your target business you'll benefit from both businessspecific and firmwide on
- and off-the-job training that will ensure you are a confident and competent contributor from day one.

  • Each business has its own program that varies in duration, scope and location, but they all share a similar approach that breaks down complex information into manageable elements. The teaching methods and environment encourage you to get to know your peers. In some areas, an extended induction period provides further team building and networking opportunities. You keep on learning once you join your team. You may be rotated through a number of desks and departments to broaden your product knowledge and extend your network of contacts. In some departments, regular lectures and presentation events allow for the sharing of knowledge as well as promoting team spirit. Ongoing training and development encourages your career progress. Customized programs build your core competencies and enhance your skills.
