The Opportunity:

Our Urbis business is growing and so too is our Brand & Clients family. The Digital Marketing Manager role is a newly created role within the Brand, Marketing and Communications team.

The role underpins the success of our organisation's digital marketing strategies, channels, campaigns, and content that will maximise our brand reach and impact.


You will:


Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing and Communications, you'll have the opportunity to grow and shape this new role.

You'll be a key member of the Brand, Marketing and Communications leadership team and will manage and mentor other team members.

You'll lead the creation and development of our digital marketing strategy across owned, earned and paid platforms - with a focus on improving digital brand storytelling, and multi-channel user journeys.

A key career shaping project you'll manage with the team and the business is a new website redevelopment for Urbis and Cistri.


In addition, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of our digital marketing strategy to support delivery of our refreshed brand strategy.
  • Leading the creation and development of Urbis and Cistri paid targeting strategies to increase brand reach and impressions with key target audience groups e.g. search engine marketing, paid targeting strategies
  • Leading the development of our multichannel digital reporting strategy (paid, owned and earned) and improve brand and campaign reporting capability to effectively report and improve on ROI.
  • Reviewing and developing our digital agency and consultant relationships
  • Fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders to understand client and market issues.

About You:

This position would suit someone who has a minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role, supporting a number of departments with a combination of the following competencies:

  • Tertiary qualifications in digital marketing, communications, or marketing
  • 6+ years digital marketing experience, preference for experience working within a digital agency, or in similar digital marketing roles
  • 2 + years managing and mentoring a team
  • Proven experience leading significant digital marketing projects and strategies including a website redevelopment project, SEO and SEM strategies, EDM strategies, marketing automation strategies and social media marketing strategies.
  • Experience across, and not limited to digital copywriting, digital persona development and journey mapping, website CMS, SEO tools, CRM platforms, marketing automation platforms (Concep, Marketo or similar), SEM tools (Google Adwords), LinkedIn Advertise
  • Proven trackrecord and handson experience utilising key digital marketing reporting and analysis software including Google Analytics, Google data studio, CRM reporting, Meltwater or similar.
