My client is seeking a dynamic and talented Communications Officer to join them on a contract basis until the end of September.
As a Communications Officer, you will play a vital role in crafting and delivering compelling messages that align with the organisation's mission and values.
You will have the opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders and amplify impact through various communication channels.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies: Create comprehensive communication plans to support organizational goals, including public relations, marketing, and internal communications.
- Relationship management: Build collaborative relationships with staff to understand current information and communication needs.
- Internal Communication: Draft communication on relevant platforms that encourage collaboration and timely information sharing to promote a positive working culture.
- Internal communications: Support internal communication initiatives, including drafting memos, newsletters, and coordinating internal events.
- Brand management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels, including print and digital materials.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote key initiatives, events, and campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in crafting creative and impactful content for various platforms and audiences.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Detailoriented mindset, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and content management systems is a plus.
