About the role


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEO Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving organic traffic to our much-loved brand sites.

Leading our SEO Centre of Excellence, a key objective of this role is ensuring that SEO is baked into our Content Commerce strategy.


Duties

  • Lead the contentled SEO Centre of Excellence, including tool management and Agency relationship
  • Establish and rollout training program for content teams, including tool access
  • Deliver SEO guidelines, including SEO bestpractice guide as part of training program
  • Establish and execute plan to ensure SEO is baked into 'one best way' content workflows
  • Build SEO dashboards to deliver performance metrics and opportunities per brand
  • Deliver monthly content recommendations (including recurring key events) and traffic forecasting per brand in line with content plans
  • Share insights and knowledge to help drive growth, traffic and engagement, including keyword mapping and tracking
  • Support the SEO training module as part of Are Media's Digital Academy
  • Deliver contentled SEO strategies for key brands, such as Home Beautiful and Australian Women's Weekly

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 4 years SEO experience
  • Competency in softskills, including, but not limited to, project management, stakeholder management, communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, objection handling
  • Knowledge of how websites work both from a user perspective and from an SEO perspective
  • Strong organisational and time management skills as well as administration/project management skills.
