About the role


Utilising your accounting expertise and passion for lifelong learning, you'll write, review and deliver content for the Xero software for our "Partners" (accountants and bookkeepers) and small business customers.


An integral part of the Xero experience, in this role you'll liaise with our global education team, customer success team, product teams and Xero partners & customers, to define course requirements and assist with creation and presentation of face to face programs, webinars, e-learning, quizzes and videos.

You will also get involved in Xero's most exciting events, including Roadshows, Xerocon, Partner and small business events.


For our partners, you'll be working to increase understanding of Xero functionality, so that they save time and become advocates of the product, driving revenue and satisfaction.

For our small businesses, you'll be working to deliver world-class education to increase understanding of Xero functionality, to save them time and drive efficiency in their business.

Role will be available in 2023


What you'll do:


  • Create & deliver face to face education courses such as custom training sessions, advanced training, education sessions at Roadshows, Xerocon, Partner and small business events
  • Present a variety of inperson product training sessions for small business customers
  • Write, facilitate, host and deliver webinars to Partners and customers
  • Review, provide feedback on and regionalise educational content created by the global education team
  • Collaborate with digital designers to produce education assets
  • Track statistics, innovate and contribute to continuous improvement culture
  • Build effective relationships with AU Partner Consultants and Education Specialists in other regions to ensure sharing of content and leveraging assets developed in other regions

What you'll bring:


  • Background in accounting, and/or accounting qualifications
  • Experience using the Xero software (highly desirable)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language

This role is based in our Hawthorn HQ office meaning our office is equipped with all the essentials for our teams to not only succeed, but love coming to work.

Including a gym, cafe and in-house barista (with barista made coffee complimentary), a large terrace overlooking the city ready for Friday EOW drinks, as well as bike parks and on-site car parking.

We also offer some pretty awesome flexibility between remote working and in office.
