About the role:


Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Technology Delivery Project Co-ordinator where you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of technology projects.


Your expertise in using Jira and Confluence, together with your strong project coordination and communication skills, will contribute to the efficient and effective execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.


Key responsibilities:


Project Coordination:
Assist in coordinating and tracking project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within scope. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, establish timelines, and allocate resources appropriately.


Documentation and Communication:
Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant materials. Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and other project participants.


Risk and Issue Management:
Manage project risks and issues. Identify potential risks and issues, assess their potential impact, and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that all identified risks and issues are properly logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Escalate critical risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.


Project Reporting:
Generate regular project reports and dashboards using Jira and other reporting tools. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on project progress, key milestones etc.

Present reports to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed about the project's status and any potential impacts on timelines or budgets.


Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed about the project's progress and any potential risks or issues.


Financial Management / Budget Control:
Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budget tracking and adherence. Monitor project expenses, track variances, and identify areas of potential cost savings or efficiencies. Provide regular updates on budget status to project stakeholders.


Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices. Actively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to enhance project delivery effectiveness.


The role is based in Sydney at our Head Office in Alexandria and includes hybrid working with flexibility dependent on scheduled delivery outcomes and stakeholder engagement requirements.


About you:


You will have a formal qualification in Business, Economics, Engineering or Technology with 2 to 4 years of experience in a project coordination or project management role, preferably within technology enabled projects.

Direct exposure and experience within the Oil and Gas industry and further commodities trading experience, will be highly regarded.
