This is a key role within our Sales team, to proactively sell private health insurance over the phone to new customers in the medical field by managing leads though inbound and outbound channels.

Sales Specialists are part of our front-line team and therefore need to be knowledgeable on our product, process, procedures and business rules as well as responsive to members' needs and expectations.

You will work in a supportive team and training will be provided.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Sydney team.


Key accountabilities include:


  • Supporting doctors and their families to join our health fund by taking inbound calls and making outbound calls throughout the year, particularly during the key acquisition periods;
  • Driving proactive retention of our current membership through outbound calls;
  • Providing exceptional service with the goal of superior member satisfaction;
  • Achieving sales growth and campaign targets; and
  • Keeping up to date with all the latest product information and compliance.

The successful applicant will have:


  • A friendly and approachable personality and a 'can do' attitude;
  • Previous experience in a sales focused role;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including listening and effective questioning skills;
  • An aptitude to learn with a willingness to be involved to learn and grow; and
  • A desire to succeed with a drive to give whatever it takes to succeed
