- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to create a supportive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies and interventions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic progress, strengths, and areas for development.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Valid teaching certification and NESA Accreditation
- Proven experience working with children with Autism or special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of best practices in special education and differentiation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid certification (desirable).
