About the role


TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Childhood Education and School Based Education Support to join our team of teachers with this permanent full time position based at TAFE NSW Ultimo Campus.


About You


You are a passionate and engaged individual who holds relevant qualifications and experience in Childhood Education and School Based Education Support and adult education.


You have a customer focused approach, with demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals.

You pride yourself on your exceptional communication skills and your ability to facilitate adult learning. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals who have the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • Vocational qualifications in Certificate IV in School Based Education Support (Bachelor of Education, Primary or Secondary desired)
  • Minimum three years postqualification experience, gained no longer than five years ago
  • Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent and a commitment to maintaining competency
  • Commitment to maintaining and developing technical currency + VET knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
