We are currently looking for a:
Raging Waters Sydney - Retail Team Member


About the role:
Retail Team Members are responsible for service delivery to guests and driving sales through Guest Engagement. They need to uphold store housekeeping and merchandising standards in order to optimize Guest Experience.


Retail Team Members at Raging Waters Sydney are responsible for driving sales through the engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Provide customer service and sales delivery at In Park Services, High Tide Store and any other Raging Water Sydney Retail outlets.- Initiate service interactions with all Guests.- Promote products that are discounted or new to the store.- Ensure transactions are processed correctly.- Demonstrate knowledge of current services and products.- Process any in-park sales as efficiently as possible to maintain the highest quality Guest Service.- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.- Recommend and display items that match customer needs.- Keep up to date with product information.- Distribute promotional flyers as required.- Conduct tasks to contribute to store operations (open and closing, cleaning, re-stocking).- Ensure all displays and shelving are stocked.- Work to ensure all products are brought to the store prior to park opening.- Carry out stock control activities as directed and prior to the last Sunday of each month.- Assist guests with locker enquires.- Maintaining strong park knowledge.- Assist in other areas associated as required, to ensure these areas operate as efficiently as possible.- Responsible for assisting with area cleanliness including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, emptying bins, maintaining birthday & cabana areas and work areas.- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Retail Coordinator, General Manager or member of the Management Team.

  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
  • Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

Languages:
Fluent English

  • Excellent communication skills and competency in conflict resolution.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

  • Be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to promote stock, and complete the purchasing process.

Experience:


  • Previous experience in customer service and/or sales.
  • Knowledge of pointofsale systems.
  • Basic computer experience, with competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point).

  • Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings and public holidays.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season.
