The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to lead technical activities and make recommendations on broad architecture decisions.

The role is required to deliver a wide range of services


Key responsibilities include:
Developing solution architectures for (low complexity) projects in line with established standards.

Support projects in the delivery of outcomes through provision of solution architecture services.

Conceptualise, design, and implement architectures for both traditional "on-premises" solutions as well more contemporary cloud platforms.


Conduct due diligence of technology requests through assessing solution options, conducting third party due diligence activities and reviewing technical requirements to ensure alignment to strategy in order to make effective and pragmatic recommendations.

Produce and maintain high quality architectural documentation as it relates to allocated projects.

The successful applicant will ideally have;
At least 5 years of technical experience within the IT sector.

An understanding of enterprise IT concepts, processes, and practices.

Experience designing for or working with Public Cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS).

Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders (inc vendors) to identify requirements and recommend solutions.

The successful applicant will be required to provide national police clearance.

Remuneration

This full-time, two year fixed-term position attracts a remuneration of $111,152 - $125,191 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
