About the Opportunity

As the Payroll Officer, you'll play an active role within the team in supporting the organisation with all aspects of end-to-end Payroll.

As an initial temporary opportunity, we're seeking someone who can step into the role ready for immediate commencement, and ready to support across a variety of Payroll related tasks.

Manage endtoend payroll processing on a fortnightly basis, or outofcycle pay runs as required.
Ability to calculate costing, wage or salary requirements, and complete personnel or payroll data for authorisation.
Advising or providing information on one or more of the following; employment conditions, workers compensation procedures and regulations, superannuation entitlements, procedures and regulations in conjunction with consultation and advice from Employsure.
Respond to internal and external stakeholder enquiries with ease and efficiency.
Calculate leave entitlements, and salary variances, including PAYG adjustments, and update employee details.
Processing new starters after the recruitment stage and managing termination payments.
Responsible for all payroll & inquiries for all centres and Head Office personnel.
Monitor, update & maintain Certificate Anniversary Dates in the payroll system to ensure the correct level of award applied to personnel.
Provide staff information to thirdparty organisations (iCare, rental references, banking, support organisations) with appropriate approvals.
Project work including, but not limited to, researching payroll software changes.
Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
