As a Scrum Master your focus will be on building a high performing team, with your ability to coach the team consisting of varying levels of Agile experience.

You will join with the responsibility of guiding the team in how to use Agile principles, methodologies, and common practices to delight customers, while organising and facilitating the regular scrum team ceremonies and activities e.g., daily stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other related ceremonies.

In addition, budget management, communication, delivery, and stakeholder engagement will be required to ensure success in this role.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Manage a scrum team (developers/engineers, BAs, QA, etc.). This role will manage one or more scrum teams in MarTech such as AEM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM, CDP, etc.
  • Concurrently manage multiple projects of varying scale through all sprints and phases through to delivery
  • Balance changing priorities within a dynamic and high paced environment whilst ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timeframe
  • Recruit new team members (work with Macquarie resourcing specialists to screen resumes and conduct interviews)
  • Maintain relationship with Vendors to ensure latest / best in class processes
  • Manage and coordinate project tasks across multiple teams
  • Organise and facilitate sprint and release planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related ceremonies
  • Track and communicate team metrics, sprint and release progress
  • Incident management of issues reported in production
  • Communicate key changes to the business and key stakeholders
  • Provide project status reports to senior stakeholders and management
  • Provide direction on project activities to ensure successful implementation and support
  • Promote a collaborative team environment

You will be an individual with:

  • 5+ years' experience in project delivery
  • 5+ years' experience in an agile / Scrum environment
  • An ability to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex Agile teams in a resultsdriven environment
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with IT terminology, experience in Marketing technologies such as AEM or Salesforce is desirable.
  • Proven experience building strong working relationships and working successfully in crossfunctional teams
  • Ability quickly to understand the scope of the project and identify key success and risk factors
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is preferable
  • Experience in using JIRA / Confluence / Kanban
