Job description - Logistics Specialist
In this Logistics Specialist role, you will be reporting to the Head of Supply Chain/Operations APAC.

Your key responsibilities will include business advisory on all import/export restrictions, tariff systems and insurance requirements. You will help develop clear processes for the team to ensure compliance and smooth movement of goods.


The Australia-based team is still a tight-knit operation, so support with Supply Chain and fulfilment activities might be required at times.


Key Responsibilities - Logistics Specialist
In this Logistics Specialist role, you can expect the following duties, but not be limited to:

  • Investigate applicable legislation and regulations, standards and best practices relevant to freight and distribution in various countries in the APAC region.
  • Manage customs and compliance for export/import, handling and transport of goods with a specific focus in APAC region.
  • Endtoend reporting & administration
  • Liaise effectively with all relevant domestic and international vendors as well as internal stakeholders
  • Analysis of ongoing costs & performance against budget and identify opportunities to mitigate costs
  • Identify any process improvement opportunities

Job specification - Logistics Specialist

Please note, this is a more experienced role than our usual graduate positions

  • Ideally 3 years experience in International Freight and International Shipping, ideally in APAC region
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Any experience in domestic freight, distribution and logistics will be beneficial
  • Minimum 12 years experience managing customs and compliance for the export/import of food products
  • Wellversed with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Great timekeeper A selfstarter with excellent attention to detail and highly organised
  • The ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Enjoys a fastpaced environment
  • Positive attitude and a clear passion for supply chain and logistics
  • Flexible and adaptable, happy to help where needed
  • Experience working with ERP systems is essential
