Why Your Role Matters:


The Student Services Advisor role in the Program Specialist team plays a crucial role in providing a seamless and high-quality experience for our students, ensuring they receive the support they need across the student lifecycle.

As Student Service Advisor you will utilise your knowledge of UNSW's student policies and processes to provide expert advice to both students and your colleagues as well as assist in the management of key administrative processes to support enrolment, and academic progression.


Who You Are:

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience within UNSW student services alongside:

  • A commitment to excellent customer service and a flexible approach in a quick-paced working environment.
  • A personable demeanour as well as the ability to use sound judgement and negotiation skills to resolve sometimes complex and sensitive issues as needed.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a highvolume workload and respond to changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to contribute to a positive team culture and develop and foster networks with staff across the University.
