Administration Officer

HNEKids - Brighter Beginnings and ADHD Service

Awabakal Country - Wallsend Campus

Where you'll be working:

Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks is a collaboration between NSW Health and the NSW Department of Education.

This initiative is part of the First 2000 Day Framework and aims to make health and development checks available to all four-year-old children attending long daycare and community preschool services.

The HNEKids ADHD service is a multidisciplinary clinic based at Wallsend that supports children and their families to access treatment for ADHD in a shared care model with their GPs.


About the role:

This position supports the Brighter Beginnings clinicians in scheduling and coordinating visits to preschools across Hunter New England Health.

Data entry, payroll, meeting documentation, and purchasing are part of your role.

The position shares duties with another Administration Officer for the HNEKids ADHD Service, including appointment booking, welcoming clients and families to the clinic, medical typing, and general administration support to facilitate the successful operation of the service.


  • You will become part of the wider team of Administrative Officers supporting communitybased paediatric teams at Wallsend Health Campus
  • Education and training in all required software packages and processes will be provided

Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
