Opportunity to join a team of technical specialists to assist with data and integration work and projects on a casual basis.

- $44.02/ hour (HEW Level 3) plus employer's superannuation.

  • Casual role. Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.
  • Work with a team of technical specialists.

THE ROLE


The Data and Integration team within Information Technology is seeking a proactive and dynamic assistant to support the team on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Manager, Data and Integration, you will:

  • Work closely with the team and cross-functional teams to develop an understanding of integration requirements and business needs to be able to contribute to data integration work/projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to the team to support the design and implementation of efficient data workflows and integrations using Python and SQL.
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking integration progress to ensure smooth data flow and communication between different systems.
  • Assist the team in building scalable and reliable data pipelines.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, optimising performance and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Keep up to date with best practices in data integration and system architecture, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

To Apply- Tertiary qualification or working towards qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Knowledge of system integration and software engineering principles and fundamentals.
  • Knowledge and experience with Python and SQL.
  • High attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • This position requires a Criminal Record Check.
