About the role:

As a Storeperson/Forklift Operator you are involved in day-to-day duties in the stores and production areas.

This position will handle miscellaneous work within our stores and facility including loading and unloading of materials, provide assistance to production supervisors, yard and stores staff, and ensuring the facility is clean and safe.

This role has the ability to work without management direction, use initiative and have the flexibility to switch between jobs and have a positive attitude towards teamwork.

This role is a full time position, Mon-Fri and is based at our Perth Airport/High Wycombe facility.


The key responsibilities of the role are to:

  • General stores, forklift and yard hand duties.
  • Receipt of materials from suppliers i.e. unload materials, check off against delivery docket, mark up items to correct job number, allocate to holding area within Stores yard.
  • Collation and preparation of materials for dispatch to offsite destination.
  • Monitor levels of stock items i.e. notify Purchasing Officer of items needing replacement.
  • Return of materials to stock.
  • Forklift daily prestart checks.
  • Housekeeping and general yard duties including emptying bins, remove strapping, packing and rubbish, excess gluts and other materials to maintain yard/work areas.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Strong focus on safety and quality control
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a robust and fast paced environment.
  • Can work as part of a team and independently.
  • Punctual and reliable

Qualifications:


  • A current valid Australian driver's license
  • Current highrisk forklift license
  • Current construction card (white card)
