Based in Lower North Shore, Sydney
- $31,200 p/a + super

  • 3 days per week, 9.30am 2.30pm
We are currently seeking a community-focussed Office, Administration or Centre Manager to make the move into a newly-created role with our client, a not-for-profit community hub in the Lower North Shore area


This position will see you acting as the first point of contact for visitors, customers and members of the public whilst also working with board members to identify opportunities to engage community engagement.

This is a permanent, part-time position based fully in the office.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify community engagement opportunities with a view to enhancing service offerings and achieving organisation goals
  • Be the first point of contact for an extremely broad range of customers, offering facetoface service and a genuinely personable and approachable manner
  • Be a point of contact for more vulnerable members of society when required, giving information on resources available and treating all with respect
  • Take part in community activities in order to form relationships with customers
  • Manage internal databases and booking systems for those checkingin to activities
  • Support with marketing duties such as website management, social media management and assisting with newsletters where applicable
  • Voice your ideas for new workshops for different members, putting together strategy plans and attracting interest

You will need to:


  • Experience in a Centre Management, Office and Administration Management or similar role is essential
  • Experience in the Government or NotforProfit sector would be beneficial
  • Flexibility surrounding working days would be preferable
  • A friendly, respectful nature with a real passion for helping the community
