Job description: - As part of a small and dynamic multiskilled team, the Governance and Legal Support Officer will undertake a range of high level administrative, research and support activities that will assist in the achievement of the Branch's objectives.
The role includes the preparation of governance documentation, high level internal stakeholder management, divisional administrative support, as well as research, analysis, and maintenance of effective business systems that will assist the Branch and the Corporate and Governance Division to support the Department's strategic objectives.
Hours per fortnight:

Duties:
As part of a small and dynamic multi-skilled team, the Governance and Legal Support Officer will undertake a range of high level administrative, research and support activities that will assist in the achievement of the Branch's objectives.
The role includes the preparation of governance documentation, high level internal stakeholder management, divisional administrative support, as well as research, analysis, and maintenance of effective business systems that will assist the Branch and the Corporate and Governance Division to support the Department's strategic objectives.
In the context of the selection criteria, to be successful in the position applicants will have:- high level communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
- high level administration skills combined with the ability to undertake research and analysis;
- proven capacity to coordinate and conduct a range of tasks including the planning, prioritisation and completion of work activities within tight and competing timeframes
Desirable Requirements:
Diploma or Advanced Diploma, completion, or partial completion, of relevant tertiary qualifications.
