Organisation:


Brightside Recruitment has partnered with a community disability support service provider who provide a range of specialist services including community outreach, recreational and residential services, ensuring their participants receive the support they need to live independent and fulfilled lives.


Role:

Based in Sydney, the Q&A Coordinator will join a small team to work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and safeguards requirements, through education and training about their obligations to NDIS legislation, rules and code of conduct

Role will require;

  • Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS legalisation rules and code of conduct
  • Working knowledge of operations, policies, and procedures, and of NDIS legalisation rules and code of conduct
  • Investigate complaints and reportable incident notification of violations of the NDIS legalisation rules and code of conduct by Staff and determining responsibility, and imposing appropriate sanctions
  • Assist with various reporting and control functions related to NDIS reportable incidents and positive behaviour support plan authorisations
  • Actively contribute to, and participate in, compliance promotion and education campaigns to inform and educate employees about requirements of relevant legislation and rules.
  • Provide a range of project management and support services, including coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
  • Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
  • Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project and policy briefs, to support informed decisionmaking and planning

Essential Criteria:


  • Proven experience with 3+years in a related Quality, Risk and Compliance position or relevant notforprofit organisation ideally in a multisite organisation.
  • Outstanding presentation and report writing skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • An ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and to contribute to the development of solutions to achieve quality outcomes
  • Indepth knowledge and experience working across the NDIS and compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission Framework and Practice standards.
  • A thorough conceptual understanding of risk management principles
  • Interpretation of relevant Government acts, regulations, and policies experience
  • Ability to influence capability at all stakeholder levels
