The Coronial Support Coordinator provides a high level of management and leadership support to the Manager, Operations to ensure the successful and efficient operation of the CCQ.

The position is responsible for supporting the delivery of quality services to coroners, families, witnesses, court users and stakeholders by supervising a highly skilled team of staff, ensuring the effective utilisation and allocation of resources, and making informed decisions to drive continuous practice improvements.

The position will play a key role in leading the delivery of reforms to the coronial system in Queensland, arising from the performance audit of coronial services by the Queensland Audit Office in October 2018.

Employees may be required to engage with persons who have and may continue to experience distressing circumstances and/or are involved with the coronial system.

Applicants should consider the above and their personal resilience and coping strategies to sustain working in confronting and challenging circumstances.
