An exciting opportunity has been presented for a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager in Laverton North, on a permanent full-time basis.


As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the production processes, bottling development, logistics management, and safety initiatives.

Ensuring all operations of processes and procedures run smoothly and to standard.

Description

  • Lead and develop the production team, empowering supervisors to effectively manage production teams.
  • Monitor line efficiency, total volumes, and waste levels to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase throughput, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
  • Identify and evaluate equipment, techniques, and technology for use in the bottling halls.
  • Identify and suggest improved ways of transporting products both locally and interstate.
  • Develop and maintain a database to manage all raw materials entering the site.
  • Develop and maintain Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and policies.

Profile
To be considered for this role you will have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Prior experience in supervising staff.
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current Australian driver's and forklift license.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to supporting and meeting the needs of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Selfmotivated with a positive cando attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills and ability to relate to people at all levels.
