TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Commercial Cookery to join our team of teachers on a casual part-time basis.


This position will be based in the Southern NSW Region, with casual work possibilities at the following campuses: Bega, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong, Albury, Nowra, Moruya or Cooma.

You will share your industry knowledge and expertise with an engaged student cohort, joining a collaborative and engaged team. You will be driven, motivated and committed to building the skills of our students.

Be prepared to drive Commercial Cookery in the South Region with new and innovative techniques and delivery.

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to
help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.


  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years (post qualification) work within Commercial Cookery, not including time served in an apprenticeship.
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills applicable to an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great team player who strives to achieve success for your all students.
