THE ROLE

The General Manager - Digital, Information and Technology is a newly established role, responsible for leading the design and delivery of Scape's bold Digital, Information and Technology strategy and roadmap.

This business-critical role is responsible for ensuring that Scape has in place the technology required to achieve its strategic priorities, mitigate risks and constantly evolve.

At Scape, our customers are at the heart of every decision we make, and innovative technology, information, platforms, and systems will be critical to improving our customer's experience and enabling our growth.

Key deliverables of the role include:

Leading the discovery and implementation of process optimisation and automation initiatives throughout the business.
Assessing, maintaining, and upgrading current IT and data systems and processes
Overall accountability of asset & lifecycle management (Laptops, Desktops), along with Azure and AWS environment.
Delivery and management of the IT Service Desk/Service Delivery to ensure internal and external stakeholders are supported.
Providing oversight of enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations. Ownership of the enterprise cyber security and business continuity/Disaster Recovery plans.
Preparation and presentation of evidence of compliance with BCP, DR and effective cyber security measures for all internal and external investor audit requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking a highly driven leader with a can-do attitude and ability to make measured decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will be an innovative, big picture thinker who is also willing and able to roll your sleeves up to make things happen.

Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with extensive experience
Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementations/ migrations
Expert understanding and practical skills in data analysis, budgeting and business operations
Strong leader experience with an entrepreneurial spirit and scaled ambition
Superior project management, analytical and problemsolving capabilities
Significant leadership experience not just a delegator but a doer
Ability to think and operate strategically as well as the ability and desire to deliver
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience providing IT solutions in a Hospitality, Accommodation or Development environment will be highly regarded
