    Description

    My client is an ASX listed business looking for a Credit Controller to cover maternity leave within the team

    They are looking for someone to come on-board with proven Credit Control and Accounts Receivable experience

    This is a fixed term contract for 6 months with a likelihood of being extended up to 12 months. The role is paying between $75-90k + super, they have a 2 days a week work from home setup, onsite parking and a brilliant team manager who is very supportive

    The Role:

    • Ensure that payments due for major accounts are received in accordance with agreed trading terms
    • Maintain proactive control, keep accurate records and manage timely resolution of all deductions made
    • In addition, assist with any AR or Credit duties from time to time as requested by the Credit Manager
    • Provide accurate and timely weekly reconciliations of all accounts
    • Manage all charge through account relationships and communicate any changes to key personnel
    • Ensure the highest standard of integrity, courtesy and respect is maintained in all dealings with both internal and external clients Ensure all accounts are kept strictly within trading terms whilst maintaining excellent customer relationship
    • Maintain a proactive approach to collection of outstanding invoices and resolution of all claims in a timely manner, including rejected claims
    • Reconciliation and allocation of payments received
    • Timely communication and on forwarding of all rebate, promotional and price/stock claims received to appropriate area
    • Allocate all payments for national accounts, raise journals, create claims and post same to GL

    About you:

    • A very highly developed attention to detail is critical
    • Experience working with major accounts
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise
    • Must be able to do pivot tables and v-look ups as a minimum excel skill level
    • Quick learner
    • Must have a passion for credit
