We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager with the ability to relocate to Broome and join our operations team managing the INPEX transport and marine operations.
As the Operations Manager, you will be the responsible for managing the supply base resources to deliver commercial value to the customer and Toll Group.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will also lead a team of over 10 people on site, ensuring coaching, and development of staff.
In the Operations Manager role, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Toll Group Broome site, including marine operations, transport, and customer service.
- Manage and mentor a team of employees to ensure high performance and customer value.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Continuously improve operational processes to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure highquality service delivery.
- Drive a strong safety culture in the workplace.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably in the Port logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations relating to the logistics industry
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- A commitment to safety and a zeroharm culture.
