  • The purpose of this officebased position involves providing technical and administrative support to the Drilling and Completions function, coordinating workflows to maximise effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
    Position Description
This role involves collaboration with various internal discipline groups (e.g. accounting, C&P, Subsurface, HSE etc.)

as required along with the following:

  • General support to the department in complying with the Well Management System and broader company business operating system.
  • Administer the D&C Phase Activity Assurance Plan process.
  • Administer the Management of Change (MOC) process and associated register.
  • Administer the deficiency reporting (DR) and nonconformance reporting (NCR) databases.
  • Assist with the management of the lessons learnt tracker/database.
  • Coordination & administration of Action Tracking system (INX InControl) on behalf of the D&C department.
  • Document control/management for well planning, engineering and drilling operations, focusing on D&C documents.
  • Custodian of the hard copy and electronic well filing systems. Registering and distribution of key drilling documents (internally and externally).
  • Generation of ad hoc reports, presentations and documents.
  • Maintain and coordinate various schedules for D&C (MS project or similar) e.g. personnel roster, operational activity forecast and activity trackers.
  • Compiling of Requisitions and processing of Purchase Orders through the procurement system (iPOS).


Organise, coordinate and support presentation meetings, After Action Reviews (AAR's), Drill Well on Paper (DWOP) and other interactive working group sessions.- Compilation and maintenance of benchmarking performance database.


  • Compilation of weekly and monthly reports as directed.
  • Daily management and filing of various operated and nonop JV daily reports.
  • Travel coordination support to the team (if/when required).
  • HSE documents distribution & database management (i.e. updating emergency response contact lists, incident reporting database etc.)
  • Compilation and coordination of various regulatory reporting obligations associated with D&C activities.
  • Custodian of 3rd party software licenses, membership renewals (e.g. API) and D&C departmental hardware.

Experience Required

  • 3+ years' administrative/technical experience within the Oil & Gas Industry. Drilling, Completion and Well Services exposure is advantageous.
  • Tertiary education advantageous.

  • Comfortable with transparent accountability and working in a time critical/schedule driven manner. Ability to meet deadlines and ensure deliverables are as proscribed.
  • Naturally curious to identify systems/process/protocol inefficiencies and develop/implement improvement initiatives.
  • Strong aptitude for mathematics, problem identification & proposing appropriate solutions.
  • A keen attention to detail and accuracy of work deliverables with a robust continuous improvement approach to work scope delivery.
  • Organised, disciplined, energetic and structured worker. A supportive team player and good communicator.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
  • Proficient technical writing ability.
  • Good written and oral command of the English Language.
