What is really unique about Limestone Coast is that we split the brewing process between our central "Hub" in Malaga and our range of venues around the state.

It is in this hub in Malaga where your new role will be based.

You will get the best of both worlds, working in a small craft brewery where you can make a personal difference while working with industry leading brewers, the latest brewing technology and automation.

What we are chasing:

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Brewer / General Hand to join our dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about the brewing process and eager to learn about the craft beer industry from the ground up.

Under the guidance of our experienced brewers, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of brewing, quality control, and packaging.

Your role will include;

• Helping our Brewing Team
• Looking after our brewhouse and taproom at Malaga
• Learning from our team in how to brew outstanding craft beer
• Support the cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all brewing equipment
• Assisting with Brewing, Yeast Handling, Centrifuge/filtration, raw material and chemical handling
• Performing secondary brewing tasks, including milling and grain out
• Cellar and fermentation management; including tank sampling and analysis
• Record keeping
• Forklift operation
• Of course the most important point of all, quality control and flavour testing

Requirements:


Essential

• A serious passion for craft beer
• Evidence that you have a basic understanding of brewing and beer
• Great Work Ethic
• Keen to learn
• Open transparent team player (no hero with ego)
• Ability to get to and from Malaga

Desirable

• Forklift Licence (or be willing to attain one)
• LR class license (not essential
