National Strategic Inventory Planner - Fairfield, Australia - Komatsu

The Opportunity
The purpose of the role is to coordinate planning activities of slow-moving inventory to ensure inventory optimisation to maintain a high level of customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement, maintenance and support of Regional Sales/Customer Planning activities, including planning accuracy metrics
- Maintain operational targets, including excess stock reduction, policy fill rate improvement, Total Inventory and B2Wise buffers
- Conduct root causes analysis and countermeasures to improve inventory position.
- Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and maintain healthy inventory levels
- Assist planning activities in finalising an agreed plan with Regional Sales and Operations.
- Provide analysis and continuous improvements to key Projects

Welshpool WA, Wacol QLD or Fairfield, NSW

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Self-Starter with demonstrated Inventory Management experience (min 2 years).
- Komatsu range of equipment product knowledge (desirable)
- Strong excel skills (desirable)
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or similar (desirable)
- Experience in MRP or Planning Systems and Processes
- Experience with Quality Control tools (desirable but not essential as inhouse training provided)
