They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join their dynamic team in Melbourne and play a pivotal role in delivering these grid scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Project-Specific Contract Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts for specific projects, from inception to completion. This includes drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other third parties involved in project execution.

Strategic Contract Management: Develop and implement project-specific contract management strategies aligned with the unique requirements and objectives of each project. Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, legal counsel, procurement specialists, and finance teams to ensure alignment of contract terms with project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of project contracts and associated agreements. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and protect the interests of the organization.

Performance Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor contract performance against project milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), and contractual obligations. Take proactive measures to address deviations and ensure compliance with contractual terms to safeguard project success.

Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for resolving contract disputes and discrepancies that may arise during project execution. Utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while preserving positive relationships with external partners and suppliers.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to project contract management. Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains to enhance project delivery and maximize value for the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in contract management or procurement is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the energy or utilities sector, with a focus on projectspecific contracts.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement processes, with proven experience in managing complex contracts for largescale projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
