This role will be a short term assignment commencing ASAP until 03/11/2023 on Day shift.

Successful applicants will have extensive aboriculture / tree management knowlegde, basic admin/analysis experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must also be willing to complete a police check.

Duties and Responsibilities Involved:

Assist in the delivery of all Council tree maintenance activities, including pruning, removal, and planting programs, tree root management, tree health, pest and disease management
Assist the Arborist team to undertake audits to ensure the Amenity Tree Maintenance contractor complies with its contract requirements, and attend contract meetings
Asissting the arborist by taking notes and inputting data into computer systems
Help the Arborist team investigate and provide appropriate recommendations on trees in relation to Planning and Local Laws issues, Risk and Insurance claims and other issues as deemed necessary
