About the Role:


This role reports to the General Manager for Australia and plays a key role in leading in-house marketing activities and external vendor relations.

With the support of the Global marketing team this position will provide marketing support to internal stakeholders, managing marketing plans, creating and management of timelines and engaging external partners when needed.

Other areas of responceability include, internal communications, brand management and coordinating industry events and the promotion of these events.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate ongoing marketing projects, providing strategic advise to internal stakeholders on positioning and make recommendations on appropriate channels
  • Industry event management, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and advising on requirements
  • Partner with the Global Marketing team to support Australian marketing requirements
  • Report on marketing campaigns, using data to show campaign impact and outcomes
  • Tracking of marketing spend and budgets
  • General administrative support
  • Be an internal brand ambassador, actively encouraging interdepartmental partnerships to promote the brand and seeking out new and creative ways to represent a global brand

Requirements:


  • Experience with social media marketing, either organic or paid
  • Excellent Microsoft skills are required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and take a lead role in ongoing marketing projects
  • Solid understanding of the basics around marketing, best practice, design and communication
  • Strong writing skills as part of this role will require content creation for social media
  • Ability to understand and follow brand guidelines to ensure all external communications are in line with the global brand standards
  • Work within tight timeframes, some projects can have a short turnaround period
  • Most importantly, the ability to work well in a team and really build strong relationships with internal management
