The Role
This position will work with the Head of Operational Resilience to implement the Business Recovery and Crisis Management components of the Business Resilience Framework across Insignia Financial.
This is to ensure the organisation is well placed to respond to disruption and help maintain a business resilience program that protects client's and members interests as part of our licensing requirements for APRA regulated entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of the annual programs of work for the Business Recovery and Crisis Management components of the Business Resilience Framework across Insignia Financial.
- Design and delivery of Business Continuity and Crisis Management training.
- Provide specialist advice, challenge and insights to support Business Continuity plan owners and coordinators to meet their requirements.
- Work with the business to support the review of the Business Recovery and Crisis plans, including appropriate scenario testing and exercises, keeping the customer central to decision making.
- Support the execution of the crisis management team (CMT) training and exercising program.
- Guide CMT with response to incidents and crisis and assist with the facilitation of post incident debriefs.
- Support the implementation of the new standard on Operational Resilience CPS230.
- Engage with facilities team to monitor and report on emergency management compliance and capability programs.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Relevant Tertiary or professional qualifications and /or equivalent industry-based experience within the workplace context.
- Proven experience as a Senior Manager operationalising enterprise Business resilience frameworks within a large multisite organisation.
- Extensive experience in BRM design and implementation across the organisation, aligned to ISO Standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Business Resilience and Crisis Management.
- Ability to effectively communicate, build trusted relationships and provide specialist advise to stakeholders up to General Manager and Executive level.
