We are passionate about food and offering nutritious, delicious and high quality meals to our customers.

Chefgood is currently looking for a Production Manager for our Keysborough (VIC) site to help us grow and support our customer's needs.

Your role

Oversee the daytoday operations of the food manufacturing line, including production & packaging.
Manage and supervise the production team, providing direction, coaching, and support as needed.
Analyse labour needs and costs in line with production requirements.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
Prepare weekly reporting in relation to paperwork compliance, meals produced, ave kg packaged per labour hour, safety incidents and food safety compliance.
Monitor and analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and enforce all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement
