Ten Recruitment are currently seeking a maintenance supervisor/factory supervisor for a manufacturing client based in the Northern Suburbs of Perth.


The role is a permanent role and would suit someone mechanically qualified or someone with a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain fixed plant machinery.

This role is offering $90, superannuation.

What a day-to-day will look like:
Lead the maintenance team to maintain and improve plant reliability and to keep production running at optimum levels.

Complete hands-on mechanical repairs to plant equipment (dependent on prior experience)


Work closely with the Factory Manager to troubleshoot issues, work on plant breakdown and review processes and procedures to identify root-cause and implement continuous improvement activities.

Manage reliability and maintenance operating costs.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Drive the Preventative Maintenance program.

Identify future capital works projects and provide recommendations for actions relating to the projects.

Provide engineering and technical support to maintenance and production personnel.


What we are looking for:
Prior experience working as a fitter or maintenance supervisor.

A solid track record in a manufacturing organisation within fixed plant factory machinery.

Experience in maintenance planning with the ability to work with and understand CMMS systems.

Experience and demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage a team effectively.

Strong understanding of mechanical processes with experience in plant engineering, plant maintenance or a similar role

Exposure to continuous improvement initiative

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Full Australian working rights

A strong commitment to safety and quality

Competent knowledge of MS Office Suite

Willingness to work outside of hours as required.
