Mars Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a leading government body, in search of a dynamic specialist to provide advice and risk insights in the realm of unlisted asset valuation and governance. As part of a regulated entity, you will contribute at both the industry and financial system levels, shaping strategies that drive impactful outcomes. The role sits within Superannuation team, collaborating with the Data Analytics, Strategic Insights, and Policy and Advice teams.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of investment policies and practices of regulated entities, particularly in the superannuation sector.
- Identify and assess investment and liquidity risks, providing sound recommendations.
- Support and advise supervision teams and Investment Risk colleagues.
- Identify current and emerging risks affecting the industry, contributing to thematic reviews.
- Provide timely ad hoc advice on investment and liquidity issues to a diverse range of stakeholders within the business.
Desired Experience and Capabilities:
_ -6 month contract with the possibility of extension-_
- Proven experience in unlisted asset research, selection, valuation, audit, and implementation.
- Background in investment risk, preferably in investment management, asset consulting, or related fields, with tertiary qualifications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Highorder analytical, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational, selfmanagement, and prioritysetting abilities.
