We are looking for a high performing Finance Analyst to join the Branch Accounting and Reporting Team of the Budget Management and Accounts Unit (BMAU).
About this role
As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with other teams within the FSAM Division, as well as partnering with business stakeholders across Ministry policy areas (branches and divisions) to provide financial support and reporting for key Health programs.
The Branch Accounting and Reporting Team works closely with branch stakeholders as their dedicated Finance business partners to manage program budgets and expenditure, including the processing of budget allocations, as well as the provision of accurate forecasting and management reporting on a monthly basis.
Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $106,025 - $117,363 plus Super and annual leave loading

What you'll be doing
- The Finance Analyst provides key financial, and business insights to support decision making that aligns with the strategic objectives of the Ministry.
- To achieve this, the role must develop successful, longterm, strategic relationships with all stakeholders.
- You will work closely with Health policy, and Financial Services and Asset Management teams, across all phases of the Health program lifecycle.
- The role also engages and collaborates with stakeholders to implement business improvements, streamline processes, improve transparency, and establish accountability.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a financial or accounting discipline and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in management reporting or budget management and control for a complex, decentralized budget
