About the role
We have an opportunity for an Assessment and Coordination Officer to join our Family Support Network team.

This role will provide assessments for vulnerable families and individuals aged 18-25 with high needs and assess eligibility or referral for services.

You'll deliver quality psychosocial assessments, monitor client progress, and make culturally appropriate referrals where needed.

About you


You'll have a passion for supporting youth and their families, strong case management experience and be innovative when it comes to care delivery.


Along with this you'll also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or similar or relevant work experience in the community sector providing cultural support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • As a 50d role, being Aboriginal is a position requirement
  • Experience and understanding of the Child Protection Family Support system
  • Prior experience in conducting assessments of vulnerable clients
  • Ability to build and develop relationships
  • Experience working in a person centred approach
  • Drivers Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months
